Some of my Favourite Dinner Spots

Liverpool House: Address: 2501 Notre-Dame St W, Montreal, Quebec H3J 1N6

What to eat: Lobster pasta is a must, and I don't share—ahahah! I've actually called this my death row meal. Essentially, if I had one last meal before I die, this would be it. It's perfection! Creamy, buttery, full of flavor, and absolutely impeccable. The steak frites was also very good, but it doesn't stand out as much as the lobster pasta.

Petit Alep: Address: 191 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2R 1S8

What to eat: All the dips—hummus, muhammara (my personal favorite), labneh, etc.—are a must. The classic fattoush and tabbouleh salads are well done and reasonably priced. All their meats are tender and fresh; the filet mignon brochette is another personal favorite, and their taouk chicken and kefta are also excellent! There's nothing I've tried there that I didn't enjoy. The quality of the food you get for the price is better than most places.

Estiatorio Milos Montreal: Address: 5357 Park Ave, Montreal, Quebec H2V 4G9

What to eat: Whenever I go to Milos, I always order the exact same thing. I've tried many dishes there, but when I fall in love with something at a restaurant, I stop sampling and end up ordering the same dish over and over again. At Milos, my go-to list is as follows: Milos special as an appetizer, the tomato salad, octopus and broccoli as the main course, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. As an overall dining experience, Milos is probably my favorite restaurant in Montreal.

Manti: Address: 2200 Bd du Curé-Labelle, Laval, QC H7T 1R1

What to eat: At Manti, everything is fantastic! Their fattoush salad and muhammara are hard to beat. I also really enjoy their hummus kawarma, which features shredded meat on a bed of hummus. Lastly, their mixed meat platter is an excellent option if you want to share and sample a variety of meats.

Piatti: Address: 2 Chem. de la Grande-Côte, Rosemère, QC J7A 1G8

What to eat: The cod fritters are the best I have EVER had. After that, I always go for the cavatelli alla ricotta e mozzarella di bufala—so, so good! They also have a great wine selection.

Côba Sushi: Address: 1124 Av. Laurier O, Outremont, QC H2V 2L4

What to eat: Whatever you do, you have to try the Truffle Tuna Roll! It's amazing and unlike anything you've ever had before. The Sake Rockefeller is another one of my favorites, and the sushi pizza is also a standout! Once again, there's nothing I've tasted at Côba that I didn't enjoy. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are remarkable.
